A conference on Palestine, attended by 400 delegates from all parts of the country, drew up a memorandum yesterday urging the british government to maintain the Balfour Declaration, greeted president Roosevelt, dr. Chaim Weizmann and Palestine Jewry. Heading many notables who sent messages of solidarity with the conference was former president Marcelo T. De Alvear of Argentina.
