A conflict erupted in Moscow over the use of one of the city’s five synagogues. The Russian Jewish Congress, which built the synagogue in 1998 as part of a Holocaust memorial, insists that the shul be used to educate about the Nazi genocide of the Jews, but a group of observant Jews is demanding access to the synagogue for prayer.
