A congressional committee unanimously favored a resolution calling on the United Nations to rout out anti-Semitism in its ranks. The U.S. House of Representatives’ International Relations Committee referred the resolution on Wednesday for a full House vote, along with two other resolutions sponsored by Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), chairwoman of the committee’s Middle East subcommittee — one congratulating Israel on its 57th independence day and another urging Syria to remove its intelligence agents from Lebanon.
