A contribution of $1,000 has been sent by B’nai B’rith Women to the Atlanta Police Bureau to aid the investigation into the slayings of 27 Black children in that city. Grace Day, president of the B’nai B ‘rith Women, in announcing the contribution, said that “we want to offer our support to all the families in the Black community of Atlanta who are dealing with the devastating feelings of fear and helplessness …. We must come to the aid of the victimized city with financial and moral support, We pray for an end to this terrible tragedy.”
