A controversial Austrian politician canceled plans to resign despite criticism over pro-Nazi comments. Siegfried Kampl, 69, still will drop out of the right-wing government coalition party, Joerg Haider’s Alliance for Austria’s Future, but now plans to keep his seat in the Parliament, where he is slated to serve as president of the upper house beginning in July.
