A cultural umbrella group in Ukraine is suing to close a state-financed Ukrainian cultural group after anti-Semitic slurs appeared in a newspaper the latter group publishes for children. The publication by Prosvit accused Jews of “working to destroy the morals and the economy of the Ukrainian people.” A Ukrainian court is expected to consider the case next month.
