A curb on Hitlerite activities was asked of Mayor LaGuardia in a resolution passed last night at a meeting of the Kings Highway Division of the American Jewish Congress, held at Temple Ahavath Sholom of Flatbush, Avenue R and East Sixteenth street.
Proposed by Rabbi Benjamin Schultz and adopted unanimously by the 500 people present, the resolution declared that the local Nazi movement, acknowledging Adolf Hitler as its leader, impelled the ignorant and excitable elements of the population to malign their fellow-citizens of Jewish faith and that violence is being incited by the Horst Wessel song.
