A Czech fund for victims of Nazism said it would finish paying out the first installment of compensation to forced laborers by April 30. The Czech Council for Victims of Nazism said it has already completed its first round of payments to concentration camp survivors but could not pay out the final 25 percent until the larger category of forced laborers, most of whom are not Jewish, was settled. Officials with the council expect to start paying the remaining sums to both slave and forced laborers at the beginning of June.
