A Czech Jewish group complained to local police that thieves are stealing granite gravestones from a Jewish cemetery. “So far, we know about the theft of ten stones made of gray or black granite,” said Marie Leskovjanova, a member of The Friends of Jewish Culture, a nonprofit that preserves and promotes the Jewish heritage of Mikulov, a town in south Moravia.
