A nationwide system of monitoring anti-Semitic radio broadcasts in connection with the Middle East crisis was announced this weekend by the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith. One of the leading sources for the spreading of such propaganda, ADL officials said, is the so-called "talk" programs, which often provide a forum for bigots.
Rabbi Jay Kaufman, executive director of B’nai B’rith, said that he did not believe the Arab-Israel war had caused the increase in anti-Semitic broadcasts. Such bigotry, he declared, "is deep and constant, and on propitious occasions it is emboldened to appear."
