A delegation of ambassadors from Central American countries met with Israeli President Ezer Weizman to thank the Jewish state for its assistance to stricken areas hit by Hurricane Mitch in October. Shortly after the hurricane struck, Israel dispatched medical and other emergency supplies to areas devastated by the storm.
