Last week’s mission, led by Ruth Messinger, president of the American Jewish World Service, also included John Fishel, president of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles; Rabbi David Saperstein, director of the Religious Action Center for Reform Judaism, and two other Reform rabbis.
