A documentary on the life of one of Israel’s most prominent feminists may soon be headed to the United States. “The Annotated Alice,” about the life of Alice Shalvi, was screened last week for the first time to a packed audience in Jerusalem. Shalvi, who escaped from Nazi Germany, founded a prestigious modern Orthodox girls school in Jerusalem, but recently joined the Conservative movement.
