A European Commission meeting on anti-Semitism appears to be back on track. The chairman of the World Jewish Congress and the European Commission’s president are to meet Thursday in Brussels to set a date for the meeting. Israel Singer’s trip comes after several days of tension since the WJC’s president, Edgar Bronfman, and the president of the European Jewish Congress, Cobi Benatoff, published a letter in Britain’s Financial Times newspaper accusing the European Commission of anti- Semitism.
