The AFL-CIO has given the Jewish Labor Committee a grant of $7,500 for 1961 and will grant the same amount next year, Adolf Held, national chairman of the Jewish Labor Committee, announced today.
The contribution was made by the executive committee of the Executive Council of the AFL-CIO. George Meany, AFL president, informed the JLC that the funds are to be used for the anti-discrimination activities of the Jewish Labor Committee.
