Announcement was made yesterday that a session of the annual convention of the American Federation of Labor will be devoted to a symposium on Fascism.
The convention, which will be held late in September in San Francisco, will seek to rally the support of American working masses against forces, similar to those which have been successful in Europe, aiming to destroy organized labor.
Speakers at the symposium on Fascism will include William Green, president of the American Federation of Labor; Walter M. Citrine, chairman of the British Trades Union Congress, who will come here to participate in the convention, and B. Charney Vladeck, chairman of the Jewish Labor Committee, which has a membership of more than 600,000 Jewish trade unionists affiliated with the American Federation of Labor.
