A Florida official called on banks operating in the state to waive wire-transfer charges on Holocaust reparations. The state’s chief financial officer, Tom Gallagher, recently said that charging the survivors and their families the fees, which range from $10 to $40 per transaction, is an “unnecessary and unjust burden,” the Heritage Florida Jewish News reported.
