A French human rights group that had promised to bring 200 lawyers to defend a Palestinian leader at his trial in Israel said it had to delay the trip because of a shortage of lawyers. The delegation was due to arrive in Israel next week for Marwan Barghouti’s trial, Israel Radio reported.
