A German film production company announced plans to go ahead with a film that gives Auschwitz butcher-doctor Josef Mengele a chance to return to life and defend himself. The plot of “After The Truth” has Mengele appearing in the present and demanding his day in court. To make sure that the film would not be seen as anti-Semitic, the producers said they had received script approval from Michel Friedman, the deputy chairman of the Central Council of Jews in Germany.
