A German Jewish leader said he supported a plan to use a video history created by Steven Spielberg’s Shoah foundation as the centerpiece of a proposed national Holocaust memorial. Andreas Nachama’s comments came soon after the idea was broached by incoming Cultural Affairs Minister Michael Naumann as a way to end the longstanding controversy over the monument.
