A gift of $25,000 has been made by Mrs. Sophie G. Cohen to the Children’s Outing Society for the purchase of a new site for a fresh air camp. This is one of the largest Jewish communal gifts in the history of Milwaukee.

The new camp will be known as Sidney M. Cohen camp in memory of the husband of Mrs. Cohen, who died last spring. Mrs. Cohen is president of the Outing Society and has been one of its most active workers.

The gift of Mrs. Cohen will now enable to society to enlarge and a new site of 11 acres on Lake Nemahbin will be taken over.

Arrangements have been completed for the two-day Youth’s Conference which will open here December 1. Henry Hurwitz, editor of the “Menorah Journal,” will make the opening address. Judge Charles Aarons and Attorneys Benjamin J. Miller and Benjamin Poss will serve as chairmen at the different meetings. The sessions will be held in Temple Emanu El-B’ne Jeshurun.
