A group of Americans presented a Torah to the last remaining synagogue in the town near the former site of the Auschwitz death camp. The presentation of the Torah to the Lomdei Mishnaot Synagogue on Monday is part of the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation’s efforts to rebuild the synagogue.
