A group of Jewish activists claimed responsibility for vandalizing a grave near Haifa of a Muslim cleric and leader. Monday’s act was apparently committed by a group calling itself Friends of Baruch Goldstein, which threatened to deface other Muslim holy sites, came after Israeli authorities last week demolished a memorial plaza near the grave of Goldstein, who massacred 29 Muslim worshipers in a Hebron mosque five years ago.
