A historic synagogue was rededicated in Ukraine decades after it was closed by the Communist Party. The April 15 dedication of the Egie Kapai synagogue as a Reform temple took place in the town of Evpatoria in the Crimean Peninsula. The synagogue was dedicated by Rabbi Alex Dukhovny, leader of the Reform movement in Ukraine, in the presence of local politicians.
