A Holocaust book once published as fiction was reissued last month in its original form as a memoir, according to The New York Times. Survivor Jakob Littner’s original work, “Journey Through the Night,” was printed in 1992 as “Jakob Littner’s Notes From a Hole in the Ground” with the German writer Wolfgang Koeppen taking credit as author.
