A huge procession was arranged in the Jewish quarter by the Jewish labor party, Bund, in celebration of May 1st.
Excepting a few minor incidents the day passed in comparative quiet. During the demonstrations a clash occurred between the Right and Left wings of the labor party, Poale Zion. Clashes also occurred between the Jewish demonstrants and the Communists on one side and the Polish Fascists on the other. Ten persons were wounded, nine of whom are Jews.
