Anthony J. Drexel Biddle, Jr., of Philadelphia, Minister to Norway, will be transferred to Warsaw as Ambassador to Poland. His nomination has been sent to the Senate by President Roosevelt. He succeeds John Cudahy, who is being transferred to Dublin as U.S. Minister to the Irish Free State.
