A Jerusalem court extended by 15 days the detention of the American Jewish teen-ager suspected of involvement in a brutal murder in suburban Maryland. Samuel Sheinbein maintains that as the son of an Israeli, he is an Israeli citizen and should not be extradited to the United States. After pressure from the United States, Israel’s attorney general said Sheinbein is not an Israeli citizen.
