A Jewish volunteer fire brigade in Chile is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Jewish and non-Jewish officials attended the recent celebration for Bomba Israel. “I dare to say that Bomba Israel is the best image that our community can offer as a service to our country,” said Sammy Hinzpeter, the brigade’s director.
