A joint Israeli-Egyptian military team will begin next week to lay out the new demarcation line between EI Arish and Ras Mohammed in Sinai, it was agreed Monday by the Israeli-Egyptian joint committee meeting in Beersheba. The new line will separate the Egyptians from the Israeli-held portions of Sinai for the next 33 months, after which Israel will have completed its withdrawal from the entire peninsula. The joint committee also agreed to resume the search for the remains of Israeli soldiers missing in action since the Yom Kippur War.
