A landmark playground in Jerusalem was renovated.
“The Monster,” a giant cement and fiberglass sculpture featuring three slides for children, was newly unveiled Wednesday after being cleaned up and repainted by the Jerusalem municipality in honor of its 35th anniversary.
Located in the capital’s Kiryat Yovel neighborhood, the Monster was designed by sculptor Niki de Saint Phalle. Thousands of Israeli children have enjoyed the playground.
