A lawyer was fined for denying in a German court that Jews died in Auschwitz. On Monday, Jurgen Rieger was fined the equivalent of more than $3,000 for trying to submit evidence denying the Holocaust in a 1996 defense of a neo-Nazi. Lawyers for Rieger said they would appeal the ruling.
