A Lithuanian newspaper urged the government to take action against what it said is an emerging alliance among pro-fascist and pro-Communist radicals who openly instigate ethnic hatred, according to the Union of Councils for Soviet Jews. The alliance’s declarations against Jews and Lithuania’s integration into NATO should be investigated, said the editorial in the Morning of Lithuania newspaper.
