A Lufthansa airliner returned here from its inaugural flight to Israel which established twice-weekly service between Lydda, Frankfurt and Munich. Lufthansa is West Germany’s national airline. Passengers on the flight included the Federal Minister of Transport George Leber; Prime Minister George August Zinn of the State of Hesse; and Ambassador Asher Ben-Nathan, Israel’s envoy to West Germany.
