Unless the Jewish religion and traditions are observed, unless the Sabbath and kashruth are maintained by all public institutions in Eretz Israel Palestine can have no importance for Israel in the Diaspora.”

That was the message to Seattle Jewry of Rabbi Aaron M. Ashinsky, a founder of the American Mizrachi movement, who arrived here Wednesday from Pittsburgh. He was greeted by Seattle Jewry at a banquet sponsored by the Seattle Mizrachi. Mrs. Nathan Levitt and Rabbi S. P. Wohlgelernter were in charge.
