A Manhattan judge dismissed two Swiss insurers as defendants in a class-action lawsuit against European insurance firms. The judge last Friday granted motions by the two firms, Baloise and Winterthur, to be dropped from the law suit because they do not conduct a substantial amount of business in New York.
