A militant Jewish group said it plans to have armed volunteers patrol a neighborhood near Hollywood, Fla., where hate fliers were recently distributed. The armed patrols will remain “as long as necessary,” an official with the local chapter of the Jewish Defense League was quoted as saying Wednesday. A local police official said the JDL had told him the group would be unarmed.
