A military judge in Beirut formally charged two Lebanese journalists for collaborating with Israel and carrying out activities designed to hurt Lebanon and Syria. A judicial statement said that Habib Younes, a journalist with the London-based Arabic newspaper al-Hayat, and Antoine Bassil, a correspondent for the Middle East Broadcasting Corporation, will be tried in a military court.
