A Mississippi school board overturned its decision to bar a Jewish student from displaying a Star of David symbol in class. The Harrison County School Board, which had said the six-pointed star violated school policy because it could be construed as a gang symbol, reversed its decision Monday following an outcry from religious leaders around the country and a threatened lawsuit by the American Civil Liberties Union.
