A new compromise plan may allow for Israel’s humanitarian aid society to become a member of the International Red Cross. The new emblem for Israel’s Magen David Adom organization would be a Jewish star framed in a border. The international group, which has until now demanded that Israel drop the Star of David as its symbol, will consider the plan next month.
