A new mikvah, or ritual bath, was dedicated recently in the capital of Azerbaijan. The dedication took place July 1 in Baku’s new synagogue, which opened three years ago. The mikvah has two pools connected with each other, a heating system and a special filtration system made in Israel, designed for purifying rain water, the Federation of Jewish Communities reported.
