A new umbrella group is coordinating Jewish education in Argentina this year. The Jewish Education Central Agency, which includes the AMIA Jewish community center, the Jewish Agency for Israel and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, will provide centralized services such as professional guidelines and advice for the 17,000 children in Argentina’s Jewish schools.
