A non-alcoholic wine has been developed by two Tel Aviv University scientists which, they say, mimics the color, taste and aroma of regular wine but will cost less. According to Profs. Henry Margulis and Avraham Lifshitz, their facsimile is mode from natural substances that are a by-product of the wine industry. They envision a market for it among people who must limit their alcoholic intake for reasons of health, religion or ethics.
