Reports of discrimination against Jewish athletes in Germany in violation of international Olympic statutes were confirmed today by the Associated Press which re-
ported from Berlin that 35,000 Jews in the German Maccabi League and the National Union of Jewish Front Soldiers are denied adequate training facilities.
Jewish groups are barred from public athletic fields, private tennis courts, swimming pools, beaches and training grounds, the report said. As a result they are obliged to train in pastures. The cost of building and maintaining their own grounds is prohibitive.
