A Palestinian teenager killed while trying to attack a West Bank Jewish community had stabbed a boy there last week.
The 14-year-old Palestinian boy was shot Saturday after he lit a Molotov cocktail and threw it at the soldiers standing 30 yards from him near the Yitzhar settlement.
Police announced Monday that the teen a week before had entered the community, set fire to a home and stabbed a 9-year-old boy five times before returning to his village and hiding, Ynet reported.
The teen lived in the village of Asira al-Kabaliya, which was attacked last week by Yitzhar residents after the stabbing.
Soldiers at an observation post in the area saw the Palestinian approaching the settlement early Saturday morning, Ynet reported. A knife and tools were found on his body.
