A philanthropic fund is giving $1.2 million to Jewish summer camp programs to boost U.S. destinations as alternatives to Israel trips. The Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund of San Francisco said the donation comes as fear of Palestinian terrorism has led to sharp falls in participation on summer youth tours to Israel.
