A program training people to teach Jewish texts in pluralistic settings was among the latest round of those receiving grants from Steven Spielberg’s Righteous Persons Foundation. In addition to CLAL – The National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership, projects receiving $100,000 or more from the foundation include a summer leadership program for Reform college students and a retreat program “to help rabbis deepen their own spiritual lives to more effectively respond to the needs of their congregants.”
