A Qatari official promised to stop broadcasts of an anti-Semitic show by his country’s television stations. Israel’s deputy education minister, Michael Melchior, on a rare official visit to the Gulf state, said Thursday that he had received the pledge from Qatari Foreign Ministry Director-General Jabel Al-Thani.
