A rabbi arrived from Israel to serve as deputy chief rabbi of Hungary’s Orthodox community. Rabbi Chaim Yehuda Deutsch, who was born in southern Hungary, will split his time between Budapest and his mostly Hungarian congregation in Petach Tikva.
