A resolution urging the League of Nations and public opinion of the world to protest against the anti-Jewish pogroms in Roumania was adopted today by the Executive Committee of the Union of Rabbis in the Republic of Poland.
The Rabbis also proclaimed a day of fast and prayer because of the desecration of the Holy Scrolls and synagogues in Roumania. This day is to be observed the Thursday following Chanukah.
